As part of the implementation of the instructions of the head of state to strengthen the fight against cybercrime, a new specialized department was created in the Ministry of internal affairs.
This initiative is aimed at protecting citizens from the modern threat – cybercrime.
The department will be engaged in the detection and disclosure of cybercrime, the development of strategic steps in the fight against them.
– In connection with the rapid development of technologies and the increase in the number of internet threats, the creation of a specialized special division will allow us to more effectively respond to the current threat,-said Minister of internal affairs Yerzhan Sadenov.
The head of the Ministry of internal affairs introduced the new head of the department, police colonel Zhandos Suyunbay.
