The National project "Comfortable School" initiated by the Head of State is being actively implemented in the country. On the eve of the national project, two more educational organizations were opened in the village of Zarechny, Kostanay region and the city of Zharkent, Zhetysu region.

The schools are designed for 900 and 1200 student places. There are more than 100 classrooms, including physics, chemistry, biology classrooms with laboratories, robotics and STEM labs, as well as 3 gyms.

The organizations are fully adapted for children with special educational needs and people with limited mobility: ramps, handrails, warning systems for the visually impaired, placards and signs are installed.

Since the beginning of the current academic year, 30 comfortable schools have been opened in the country for almost 82 thousand students. Of these, 9 schools have been opened in Astana, 6 in Akmola region, 3 in Almaty, two each in Atyrau and Zhambyl regions, one each in Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Kostanay and Zhetysu regions, as well as 1 in Almaty and 2 in Shymkent.

It should be noted that by the end of 2025, 217 modern schools are planned to be commissioned within the framework of the National project "Comfortable School".
