In Kyzylorda, the regional Museum of Local History hosts a visiting exhibition of the Turkestan Regional Museum of Local History "Turkestan region with a deep history". This exhibition is aimed at revealing the historical place of Turkestan, its cultural and spiritual appearance, promoting historical heritage, expanding cultural ties, and strengthening cooperation between institutions.
At the opening ceremony, the director of the Turkestan Regional Museum of Local History Bayan Aitymbet explained the main purpose of the visiting exhibition and focused on strengthening cultural ties with the cheese country. Associate Professor of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Dastan Satbai and director of the Kyzylorda Regional Museum of Local Lore Tuzeibayev delivered a welcoming speech.
The exhibition presented the archaeological and ethnographic heritage of the Turkestan region, a collection of jewelry, men's weapons – five guns, monuments of sacred architecture, works of Kazakh tapestry art and woodcarving, as well as the main relic – the original sword of Kenesara Khan Kasymuly.
It should be noted that this exhibition will last until November 15 at the art gallery named after S. Aitbayev.
