For the first time, an operation to stent the internal carotid artery was performed at the Central District Hospital of Saryagash. Using an angiographic device, without incisions, doctors successfully performed such an operation on three patients.
The operation using the new method was performed by neurosurgeons of the Regional Clinical Hospital Sapargali Sapakov, Abylaikhan Oral and neurosurgeon of the Central District Hospital Baibek Kudiyarov.
Previously, patients in need of such operations were sent urgently and routinely to the regional center. Now the doctors of the Central District Hospital have mastered a high-tech operation and provide surgical assistance on the spot.
