On December 6, 2024, the Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rostislav Konyashkin met with the population of the North Kazakhstan region in Petropavlovsk.
Rostislav Konyashkin, Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, held an online meeting with the population and a reception of citizens in the North Kazakhstan region. During his speech, the Vice Minister spoke about the activities and achievements of the Ministry in the field of public services and digitalization.
During the meeting, the Vice Minister noted the ongoing work on the transfer of public services to an electronic format. So today, 93% of services are provided electronically, of which 90.8% are available on the eGov Mobile platform. Thanks to the integration of digital solutions, 42.3 million services have already been provided in a proactive format, without the need for personal appeals from citizens to government agencies.
Kazakhstan has become one of the 10 world leaders in the development of online services, and the popularization of digital documents makes it possible to abandon paper certificates. 34 digital documents are already available, which simplifies everyday life.
Within the framework of the "Invisible Government" concept, bureaucratic processes have been significantly reduced: the number of procedures has been reduced from 605 to 175, and the number of visits to government agencies has been reduced from 119 to 21.
"We strive to ensure that services are provided to citizens without unnecessary steps. For example, at the birth of a child, the state congratulates the parents via SMS, and the IIN, birth certificate and benefits are issued automatically," the Vice Minister stressed.
Special attention is paid to digital solutions aimed at improving the convenience of citizens – social initiatives:
More than 800 thousand socially significant services have been provided using digitalization.
The Social Wallet project is being implemented. Currently, 2 services have been launched in a pilot format: free medicines and free meals for schoolchildren.
Citizens' medical data is now available through the e-Densaulyq service.
Digitalization of the regions is one of the important areas of the Ministry's activity. For example, a single portal has been launched in the city of Petropavlovsk to automate public services Sqoqyzmet.kz . 2.5 thousand services have already been provided through the portal. For operational interaction with citizens, the Unified Contact Center-109 is actively functioning – since the beginning of the year, more than 55 thousand requests have been received. To increase the public safety of citizens, the coverage of video surveillance is expanding – there are 41.7 thousand video surveillance cameras in the region, 7 SOS alarm buttons are installed.
In addition, the Vice Minister answered questions from residents of the region. One of the urgent issues for residents of the North Kazakhstan region is the provision of high-quality communication and Internet access. Rostislav Anatolyevich, as well as the head of the Interregional Communications Inspectorate for Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions, noted the planned expansion of Internet coverage, as well as plans for further development.
