The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan urges citizens to observe security measures on weekends and holidays.
Due to the increase in mass events and outdoor recreation, especially in winter, it is important to prevent emergencies.
From December 14, 2024, the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will switch to an enhanced service mode due to the increased risk of an emergency. This includes additional raids, control of mass events and security at leisure facilities. Fire and tactical training, briefings with the staff of business facilities and commission inspections with recommendations will also be conducted.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds citizens of the need to comply with basic safety rules:
Fire safety:
be careful when using heating and electrical appliances, do not leave children unattended, observe safety measures when using pyrotechnics
Safety on the water: do not go out on thin ice, follow the rules of conduct in reservoirs, do not allow children to be unattended near water.
Safety in the mountains: use proven equipment, do not go on mountain routes without proper preparation and knowledge of the route.
Road safety: follow the rules of the road, especially in winter weather, and be careful when driving
