An expanded staff meeting was held in the capital under the chairmanship of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov. The event was attended by heads and representatives of subordinate organizations of the Ministry, as well as regional departments of physical culture and sports, to sum up the results of 2024.

At the meeting, heads and representatives of regional sports departments presented reports on the development of sports infrastructure, physical culture and sports in their regions, as well as on attracting young people to sports. The current state of sports in the regions, accumulated problems were openly discussed and ways to solve them were proposed.

The Minister stressed the importance of sport in the life of society, its impact on people's health and quality of life. He noted the need for an open discussion of specific measures aimed at overcoming obstacles in the development of the sports industry.

The meeting also raised issues of sports infrastructure development, including increasing the number of sports grounds in rural areas, as well as the construction of new sports facilities using the mechanism of public-private partnership. In addition, proposals were made to train specialists in the sports field, improve their skills and strengthen measures to support athletes.

Erbol Myrzabosynov discussed in detail the state of sports in the regions and outlined concrete steps for its further development. The Minister stressed the need to implement state programs, coordinate the work of regional administrations and increase the number of sports events at the local level in order to achieve high results in the sports industry.
