In 9 months of 2024, the number of domestic tourists increased by 562 thousand, reaching 6 million people.
The influx of foreign visitors amounted to 11.5 million people, which is almost twice as much as in the same period in 2023. Of these, 969 thousand foreign tourists stayed at the accommodation facilities.

These indicators indicate the effectiveness of the measures taken and the growing interest in Kazakhstan as a tourist destination.

The economic indicators of the industry also show significant growth.
The total income of the accommodation facilities increased by 27%, amounting to 224 billion tenge.
The number of accommodation facilities increased by 306 units, to 4,315, and their capacity increased by 18 thousand beds, reaching 226 thousand.

This allows Kazakhstan to significantly increase its readiness to receive both domestic and international tourists.
Investments in the tourism industry continue to grow rapidly. In 10 months of 2024, their volume increased by 33.6%, amounting to 668.1 billion tenge.
