On December 9, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai, after a meeting with the population of Zhanaozen, held a reception of citizens on red-handed issues. The majority of citizens raised issues of housing and employment, including employment in the oil and gas industry.
One of the townspeople who came to the reception, a disabled person of the second group, said that he needed housing. Taking into account the situation of the resident, he was offered a place in the hostel. Other citizens who also came with a housing issue were explained how to get housing through participation in government programs, and given the necessary consultations.
The appeals of citizens with disabilities who came to the reception were not ignored. One of them complained that the ramps in the city did not meet the requirements. In order to solve this problem, the governor of the region instructed the city administration to create favorable conditions in public places for people with disabilities before the Amal Meiram holiday.
Another resident, wheelchair-bound, asked for financial help to expand his pet food business. Nurdaulet Kilybai advised the citizen to prepare a business plan and receive financial support under government programs. And he obliged responsible enterprises to provide comprehensive assistance to the citizen.
In addition, a group of citizens came who asked to recognize their housing as emergency. The governor of the region instructed the heads of responsible departments to urgently study the condition of housing and take measures to recognize it as an emergency or determine the need for repair.
It should be noted that about 200 residents came to the personal reception of the akim of the region, held in Zhanaozen, for personal issues.
Residents raised various topics such as labor disputes, entrepreneurship, agriculture, healthcare, education development, gas and land issues. Within the framework of the law, appropriate decisions were made on each issue and specific tasks were set.
