On the official Internet resource of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan http://ecogeo.gov.kz/ru and a single environmental Internet resource http://ecogosfond .kz The National Report on the state of the Environment and on the use of natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023 has been published.
The national report contains systematic analytical information, including in dynamics, on the environmental and radiation situation in the regions and the republic as a whole, the use of natural resources, the impact of economic activity on natural resources, as well as measures taken by state control and supervision bodies in the field of environmental protection. The Report also provides information on the state and trends of climate change in the republic, the international activities of the State in the field of environmental protection and the fulfillment of obligations under international treaties.
Materials provided by central and local executive bodies, non-governmental and international organizations were used in the preparation of the Report.
The national report is developed annually in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 23 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan to provide public authorities, public organizations and the public with objective information about the state of the environment, trends in its changes, the effectiveness of environmental protection measures and is aimed at improving the environmental culture of citizens.
