The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is working with the younger generation to teach emergency safety measures, this is one of the priorities of the emergency department. As part of this activity, various events are held for children, the format of which depends on the age of the audience. These are thematic lessons, conversations, interactive classes, competitions, etc. It is important that even if children stay at home temporarily unattended, they know how to behave so that trouble does not occur.
Thus, the staff of the Emergency department of the Mangystau region conducts open lessons for primary school students of educational institutions in the region. At the open lesson, children were presented with coloring books on the theme "Profession-lifeguard", specially developed by the department. This brochure contributes to the formation of a safety culture in the minds of kids through acquaintance with the profession of a lifeguard, the search for solutions to various logic games and special puzzles. Currently, 5 thousand copies of this book have been released and distributed in the educational organization.
Rescuers of the Emergency Situations Department of Astana held classes with children of correctional classes. Safety instructions in Braille have been developed for students. The rescuers conducted these classes according to the methodological recommendations developed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Employees of the Emergency Department of the Kyzylorda region conducted an interactive online lesson with educational institutions on the topics: "Safety on reservoirs (ice) in winter", "First aid to victims in reservoirs". In total, the event covered 205 schools, 953 teachers and 10147 students of the region.
Activities in this area are ongoing and are carried out on an ongoing basis.
