At the initiative of Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy and rector of KazNPU named after Abai Bolat Tilep, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, within the framework of which lectures were organized for teachers of the Turkestan region.
This year, within the framework of the memorandum, the first stage of an online course on the topic "Development of metasubject competencies of teachers in teaching subjects" was held from September 23 to 27 to improve the skills and retraining of managers and teachers who will be transferred to schools opened under the national project "Comfortable School". Also, from October 28 to November 1, the second stage of the course was held offline at the university.
The purpose of the courses is to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of school leaders in the management of educational institutions, as well as the development of meta—subject competencies of subject teachers.
At the first stage, the participants got acquainted with theoretical information and completed practical tasks to gain experience. At the second stage, the participants attended lectures by the university's teaching staff, as well as got acquainted with the educational and laboratory base. They also attended lectures by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Education, M. Meldebekova, on the topic "Assessment and control systems in ensuring the quality of education" and the Vice-President of the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarina R. Karatabanova on the topic "The content of secondary education: priorities and implementation mechanisms".
In addition, the course participants got acquainted with the experience and material base of such schools in Almaty as the first school opened within the framework of the Comfortable School project — gymnasium No. 97, modern gymnasium No. 206 with a high level of education quality, and inclusive gymnasium No. 200.
On November 1, 41 students who completed the course were awarded certificates.
