The President was informed that the vocational education institution, founded in 1979, is currently the only forge of personnel for the mining industry in the west of the country.

1,157 future miners, tunnellers, concentrators, locksmiths, mining electromechanics, electricians, and representatives of other specialties study at the college.

The director of the college, Bagdashzhan Muldasheva, told the Head of State about the advanced technologies used in the educational process.

In particular, a dual training system has been introduced, combining theoretical knowledge with practice. There is a training and mining range on the territory of the college, where students practice complex maneuvers of working with equipment. Students use simulators that simulate various mining equipment.
