The Head of State got acquainted with the work of the Bolashak mine in Khromtau

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's working trip to Aktobe region began with a visit to the Bolashak mine, which has a design capacity of 7.5 million tons of chrome ore per year.

The Head of State was informed that 1800 jobs will be created at the facility with the volume of attracted investments of more than 1 trillion tenge.

According to Shukhrat Ibragimov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurasian Resources Group, the Bolashak mine is one of the largest investment projects of the ERG Group.

The company is developing two deposits – Millionnoye and Almaz-Zhemchuzhina. The mining process uses advanced technologies and modern equipment, including an intelligent drilling rig with automatic drilling mode, remote control from the surface, as well as a fully automated lifting machine.

According to the head of ERG, the launch of the Bolashak mine of the Don Mining and Processing Plant is a historic event for the mining industry of Kazakhstan.
