The Almaty city exhibition "Nomads of Kazakhstan: Past and Present" gathered more than 12,000 visitors in Hungary

The exhibition "Nomads of Kazakhstan: Past and Present" has ended at the Karchag Kince Museum of Art (Hungary). The exposition included more than 200 unique exhibits telling about the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Kazakhs. The dombra of Abai Kunanbayuly, which has become a symbol of the connection of generations, attracted special attention of visitors. In general, the exhibition was visited by more than 12 thousand people.
"The project has aroused wide interest, which underlines the importance of cultural exchange between Kazakhstan and Hungary. Earlier, similar exhibitions were successfully held in Turkey, South Korea, Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic. The final event of the year will be the exhibition "Cultural Heritage of the Great Steppe", which will open on December 12 in Serbia. The mayor of the city pays great attention to the issues of internships, education and strengthening international relations, which in general will contribute to the development of representatives of the cultural sphere. That is why museum staff have been trained in the world's best cultural centers, including the Louvre," said Gani Mailibayev, head of the Almaty Department of Culture.
By the way, the exhibition was organized by the Association of Museums of Almaty with the support of the Akimat of Almaty and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary.
