Water industry specialists will study in the USA and Australia under the Bolashak program. In order to create such conditions, agreements were made between the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Next year, two employees of the ministry will be trained in the USA. Another specialist will take a master's degree in Australia under the Bolashak program.
Recall that this year, at the initiative of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, educational programs such as "Hydrogeology" and "Water Resources" were included in the Bolashak program. As a result, Kazakhstani students have the opportunity to study them abroad.
"Professional development of water industry specialists is one of the main directions of the Ministry's work. To date, the agency has agreed with countries such as China, the Netherlands and France, as well as with a number of international organizations on the exchange of experience and joint training. This year, experts from the Netherlands held three seminars on flood risk management in Astana and Aktobe. As a result, 50 specialists dealing with flood control issues have deepened their knowledge," said Bolat Bekniyaz, Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
In addition, in the summer, Kazvodkhoz specialists took three-month courses in the Japanese city of Sapporo. And the deputy director of the Kyzylorda branch of the enterprise exchanged experience in South Korea.
