Karaganda region will become a training center for working professions

Colleges of the Karaganda region will train high-quality personnel for industry and deepen the interaction between education and real production. The clustering of secondary specialized institutions in eight leading technical areas has begun in the region.
Young specialists will join the ranks of workers at local enterprises. There are more than a thousand industries in the field of industry, construction industry and energy, where about 200 thousand workers of various specialties work.
– In this regard, it is very important for our region that next year is declared the Year of Working Professions by the Head of State. 60% of the region's youth work as workers at various enterprises," Head of the region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev said at a briefing in the CCS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. – Therefore, we plan to turn the Karaganda region into a training center for working professions for the country. There are all the necessary conditions for this: the established experience of secondary vocational education, a network of colleges with a rich history, manufacturing enterprises combining knowledge and experience, qualified teaching staff.
The upbringing and education of the younger generation is one of the priorities in the region. According to the "Comfortable School" program, 10 educational institutions are planned to be built in the region. Construction began in 2023. Two new schools have opened in Karaganda this academic year, one of them is comfortable. By the end of the year, it is planned to introduce five more new comfortable schools.
A modern Palace of Schoolchildren was opened in a residential area of Karaganda, and a Palace of Arts was opened in the Osakarovsky district.
Teachers are actively supported. According to the program "With a diploma – to the village!" this year 140 teachers who came to work in rural areas received lifting.
Thanks to the financing of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation, four educational projects have been implemented in the region to modernize and repair schools, as well as the construction of sports grounds.
