Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that 8,200 children are born in the medical institution every year, and more than 13 thousand patients receive treatment. 130 IVF procedures are carried out within the framework of the "Kazakh Sabi" project, 200 children are undergoing rehabilitation at the early intervention center.
As the Head of State was told, 50 cardiac and ophthalmological operations were performed at the center for children with congenital diseases. Before the opening of the center, infants with such a diagnosis were sent to Astana for treatment.
The President was also presented with the "One Day Clinic" project, which has been implemented since the beginning of the year. To date, as part of a project aimed at identifying genetic diseases in the early stages, 6,000 women have undergone medical examinations at the center.
The Head of State talked with the doctors and wished them success in their work.
