The Head of State inspected the building of the Operational Management Center of the Aktobe Police Department.
The facility provides round-the-clock monitoring of the situation on the ground in real time using about 15 thousand video cameras.
There are 32 inspectors and 3 operators of the 102 hotline working in the center's operations room.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Saken Sarsenov reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the use of digital solutions in police work.
Currently, there are 5 operational management centers in Aktobe region, thanks to which 1.8 thousand criminal offenses and 187 thousand traffic violations have been identified.
The President was also informed that in order to improve the efficiency of the work of the internal affairs bodies, the use of artificial intelligence technologies has begun, which analyze surveillance camera recordings and help in the search for missing people.
These technologies make it possible to recognize the faces of suspects from photographs uploaded to a special platform. In addition, they record violations of traffic rules and allow you to control traffic on the roads.
The Head of State drew attention to the importance of ensuring the rule of law and Order in society and stressed the need to continue working in this direction.
