What is being done for the development of rural medicine in the Karaganda region

Equal opportunities for all – the Karaganda region is developing a health care system for rural residents. This year, 14 new medical facilities have been opened in the villages.
Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev reported on achievements in the field of medicine during a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– The President has set the task to rebuild the healthcare system, focusing on the quality of services and patient orientation, – said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – By the end of the year, we plan to open another 27 medical facilities in rural areas, and next year – 51 institutions. After modernization, two hospitals in Temirtau and Balkhash became inter-district. This will allow residents of the region to significantly improve access to medical care.
Qualified medical personnel are supported and attracted to the region. In two years, 236 medical workers were given apartments. The amount of lifting fees has been increased from 1.5 to 8.5 million tenge. 63 specialists have already been supported, and it is planned to attract 20 more medical workers by the end of the year.
The Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation also provides assistance, which finances the purchase of equipment for pulmonology, kombustiology and cardiology.
