Large-scale modernization of engineering infrastructure continues in the Karaganda region. 14 heat supply projects are being implemented in Karaganda, Balkhash, Temirtau and Shakhtinsk for 31.5 billion tenge. 17 km of main heating networks have been put in order. This will reduce network wear by up to 64.4%.
One of the largest projects in the region's housing and communal services over the past 30 years is the construction of a third heat outlet in Karaganda.
– The heating main was launched in October. In the future, for seven years, the third heat sink will be able to provide heat to 1.2 million square meters of housing, that is, over 20 thousand apartments," Ermaganbet Bulekpayev said at a briefing in the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, special attention is paid to providing drinking water to remote settlements. This year, water supply will be established in 14 villages. Drinking water will appear in the homes of one and a half thousand residents. Block modules are being installed in 26 small villages. These measures will increase water supply coverage to 97.6% of the region's population.
Work on the gasification of the private sector is also continuing. Gas networks have been connected to 7621 houses, of which 3,573 are already connected to gas.
Housing construction is growing in the region. In 9 months of this year, 380.3 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation. This is 4.7% more than in the past.
It is planned to build 500 thousand square meters of housing by the end of the year. This will provide a roof over the heads of thousands of families, including those from socially vulnerable categories.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev stressed the important role of entrepreneurs in housing construction. Businessmen are building houses in villages using government support measures. 55 thousand square meters of housing, or 755 apartments, have already been built.
