Karaganda region has harvested a record grain harvest this year – 1 million 300 thousand tons. And in general, the region ranks seventh in the country in terms of agricultural production. Local farmers ensure food security not only in the region, but also in the capital.
Governor of the region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev told at a briefing in the Central Communications Service how the potential of the agricultural sector will be further increased.
– By the end of the year, 30 investment projects worth more than 23 billion tenge are being implemented in the agro-industrial complex. As part of the development of villages, the Auyl Amanaty project should be particularly noted. The Head of State gave specific instructions to improve the welfare of the rural population, emphasizing the effectiveness of this program. In our region, 4.4 billion tenge has been allocated for 483 micro–loans under the Auyl Amanaty project, half of which is aimed at the development of animal husbandry, the other part is for business projects of rural residents. As a result, 816 jobs were created in rural areas, more than 60 agricultural production cooperatives, the governor of the region said.
He gave examples of successful support for agricultural cooperation. SEC "Saq NS" in the Aktogay district has created a workshop for the production of mare's milk using German technology, produces 30 tons of koumiss every month. SEC "Madi-Agro 7" in the Karkaraly district increased meat production, and the Qarmet company became a consumer of its products.
