On November 6, 2024, the grand opening of a Comfortable school with the state language of instruction for 300 places took place in Arkalyk, Kostanay region.
Secondary school No. 7 of the Arkalyk Education Department, for the construction of which 2.6 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget, opened its doors to children, providing high-quality conditions for a successful educational process.
The priority of the National project "Comfortable School" was the fulfillment of the task set by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev: "Our children should receive high-quality education regardless of their place of residence and language of instruction."
At the opening of the school, Deputy Akim of Kostanay region Rinat Mukhametkali stressed that all conditions have been created at the school for the development of talents and abilities of schoolchildren. "The social effect is important for the region: 70 permanent jobs have been created. Students will be able to receive high-quality education within walking distance. Scientific and methodological cooperation between the school and the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute will be established, future teachers will be able to practice with further employment at the school, and the leading researchers of the Institute are ready to join the board of Trustees to continue cooperation," he said.
The school has separate blocks for primary, secondary and senior level education. 26 classrooms are equipped with modern equipment for the formation of students' research skills. The development of IT competencies, scientific and creative potential of the younger generation is aimed at equipping robotics classrooms and computer classes, STEM laboratories.

The school has been adapted for children with special educational needs, and a safe educational environment has been created, including for a low-mobility group of citizens.
Already, about 400 children have been accepted to the school, and training will be conducted in two shifts.
Veteran Aubakirov Tubekbai Gabsalykuly congratulated all students and teachers on the opening of the school. "The main thing is that in a modern-style educational institution, full-fledged conditions for high-quality education of the younger generation should be created. We hope that this educational institution will become the center not only of education, but also of the sports and cultural life of our city."
This is the second school opened in Kostanay region within the framework of the National project "Comfortable School". In total, the project will open 6 schools with 4,500 places.
