Kazakhstani experts are studying Germany's experience in combating domestic violence

A training course on combating domestic violence is being held for Kazakhstani specialists in the city of Landau (Germany). The initiator of the exchange of experience was the OSCE Program Office in Astana jointly with the representative office of the Foundation. Friedrich Ebert in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh delegation includes representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
They are trained in the methods of interaction between state and non-state structures, as well as the principles of interdepartmental interaction in the field of combating domestic violence.
Also, foreign experts share with them effective practices and experience of working with the German ODARA domestic violence risk assessment system, widely used by advanced countries. This prevention system has been implemented in a pilot mode in several regions of Kazakhstan.
