In Turkestan, the pace of construction remains high. The work is especially active in the regional center. With the increase in population and the development of the city as a tourist center, it is planned to implement a number of important projects. The next meeting to discuss these projects was held in the regional administration.
Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy noted the need to develop the city in accordance with the master plan and adhere to a single architectural style. He also instructed to increase the number of green spaces, expand landscaping and effectively use vacant land.
— Turkestan should have its own unique design and architectural style. Each proposal should be carefully considered and implemented only after discussion with the architects. Social facilities, recreation areas, parks and other buildings should be harmoniously combined with each other," Darkhan Satybaldy stressed.
17 projects were considered at the meeting, including the facade of the city House of Culture, residential complexes at the entrance to the city, as well as landscaping projects. The issues of turning the territory near the rowing canal into a major tourist center, the construction of an aquapark and hotels were also discussed. Proposals for the construction of an IT park and additional education centers were presented. Private investments will be attracted for the implementation of these projects.
