Under the chairmanship of Deputy Akim of the Abai region Dimitri Garikov, a meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergencies on compliance with security measures during the New Year's events was held.
Alexey Shtykel, Deputy head of the Emergency Department of the Abai region, spoke on the issue of ensuring fire safety of New Year's holidays. In addition, reports were made by employees of the Police Department of the Abai region on the ongoing work within the framework of the OPM "Pyrotechnics". The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Department of Education, Health, and Life Support Facilities.
In order to safely pass the New Year holidays, instructions were given for the immediate implementation of the points of the Plan of the Republican preventive event "Fire Safety Month". Akims of cities and districts, heads of life support facilities have been instructed to organize enhanced duty during the celebration of New Year holidays.
