Bekzat Nurdauletov from Mangystau became the winner of the Asian Championship.
At the continental championship held in Thailand, our compatriot won the title of the best in the weight category up to 86 kg. He started the competition from the semi-finals and reached the final.
In the decisive match, Zhanaozenets defeated Zhasurbek Yuldoshev from Uzbekistan, having achieved significant success in his sports career.
At the moment, the national men's national team has 2 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals. Two more Kazakhstanis will compete in the final.
It is worth noting that in 2019, Bekzat Nurdauletov won the World Championship in the 81 kg weight category. He also participated in the Olympic Games held in Tokyo.
