Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhayev held a meeting with residents of the Ayagoz district, where he answered their questions and held a personal reception of citizens. Topical issues and prospects for further development of the district were discussed in the format of a live dialogue.
"Ayagoz district is located at a strategic crossroads, which plays an important role in the economy of the region due to the mining industry. Since the establishment of the region, we have started large-scale work, and significant results have been achieved in two and a half years. Our main goal is to further develop the region and improve the quality of life of the population," said Nurlan Urankhayev.
During the meeting, residents raised issues related to road infrastructure, transport, lighting, heating, landscaping and the social sphere.
The share of roads in good and satisfactory condition in the district is 70.2% (288.3 km). The bridge along Barak Batyr Street in the city of Ayagoz has been repaired. To subsidize passenger transportation on socially significant interdistrict (intercity) communications Aktogay-Ayagoz. The repair of roads of the republican highway Karaganda – Bogas between Ayagoz – Barshatas, Koksala - Bidaik has begun in the district. In Ayagoz district, 45 villages and district centers are provided with drinking water. A thermal boiler house will be built in the district center by 2027. The construction site is currently being determined.
As part of the Comprehensive Plan, it is planned to build sewage treatment plants in the city of Ayagoz by 2026. As part of the "Auyl – el besigi" program, power lines were installed in the village of Aktogay, lighting of five streets in the village of Tarbagatai was carried out, and a modern sports ground was built in the village of Akshi.
It is planned to build a new smelter of KAZ Minerals Smelting LLP in Ayagoz by 2028. As a result, 1,083 new jobs will be created. Two 5-storey 60-apartment residential buildings are under construction in Ayagoz 1.8 billion. In addition, as part of the Comprehensive Plan, design and estimate documentation has been developed for the construction of a fire station for 4 vehicles in Ayagoz.
Special attention is paid to children with special needs. A center for the provision of special social services has been established in the district, and a specialized taxi has been purchased. By 2028, it is planned to build a rehabilitation and adaptation center for 150 places.
In 2025, a new 600-seat school will open in Ayagoz. 208.6 million tenge has been allocated for the current repair of 16 schools in the district, and seven subject rooms have also been purchased.
