During the state visit of the Head of State to France, representatives of the Ministry of Health, subordinate organizations and regions reached agreements on cooperation in the field of healthcare.
During the meetings with the French side, active cooperation is planned in such areas as improving the quality and accessibility of medical services, improving digitalization and telemedicine, improving oncological care, introducing innovative technologies, exchanging experience, training specialists, etc.
With the participation of the Kazakh delegation at the 13th meeting of the Kazakh-French business Council and a round table with representatives of French business, a number of memoranda on attracting investments in the field of healthcare and prevention were signed between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health and Access to Medical Care of the French Republic, as well as 12 memoranda between Kazakh and French organizations.
During the visit, a bilateral meeting was held between Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Muratov and Minister of Health and Prevention of the French Republic Ms. Genevieve Daryesek. The parties discussed the further development of Kazakh-French cooperation in the field of healthcare, including improving the quality of medical care through effective medical personnel, promoting the Coalition of Countries on Primary Health Care, etc.
Also, the issues of implementing investment projects in healthcare, digital healthcare, scientific research and improving human resources were discussed at the Round Table on Healthcare Issues. French organizations and companies such as the Curie Institute, the University Hospital of Strasbourg, the Higher Institute of Psychomotor Rehabilitation, Hekia, AFD, C3Medical, Proparco, EHESP, etc. also took part here.
The Kazakh delegation also visited medical organizations in France, held meetings with organizations and companies in the B2B format, where a number of agreements were reached, the task of which is to achieve common goals aimed at providing high-quality and affordable medical care to the population that meets international standards.
