Kassym-Jomart Tokayev inspected the educational and training sports complex of the Zhetisu volleyball club.
The building worth 1.2 billion tenge and an area of 1,639.4 square meters was erected this year. The object consists of two blocks. The main three-storey building is designed for conducting volleyball training sessions and physical education and wellness processes.
The complex is equipped with sports and gyms, medical and administrative offices.
Then the President was shown an apartment building with an area of 3,866.5 square meters, which was built by a private investor for athletes. There is a dining room, classrooms and a recreation area.
In a conversation with coaches and athletes, the Head of State highly appreciated the team's results. He noted that if earlier volleyball players had to go to training in Almaty, now all the necessary conditions have been created for them in the region. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the volleyball players to show decent results in the international arena and achieve victories in the upcoming competitions.
The team members thanked the President of Kazakhstan for creating favorable conditions and asked to leave an autograph on the volleyball.
