An endoscopic diagnostic center equipped in accordance with international standards has started operating in the East Kazakhstan Multidisciplinary Center of Oncology and Surgery. The opening ceremony was attended by Akim of the region Yermek Kosherbayev and the country's chief freelance oncologist, Chairman of the Board of JSC KazNII of Oncology and Radiology Dilara Kaidarova.
The new center makes it possible to carry out endoscopic examinations and minimally invasive operations using high-tech equipment. This makes it possible to detect malignant tumors at an early stage and prevent their further development. In addition, patients are offered safe and comfortable sedation treatments.
The opening of the new center will help solve many issues related to cancer. Early diagnosis is extremely important, as it saves time, medicines and funds for patients. Disease prevention is no less important. In the operating rooms, oncologists perform the most difficult operations, fighting daily for the lives of patients. We are glad that there is such a center in our region that allows us to prevent and treat oncological diseases," said Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Ermek Kosherbayev.
The head of the region also noted the role of medical personnel who show kindness and care for patients.
— All the specialists we saw today greeted us with a smile, and this is also part of the treatment. The patients noted that they are very well fed here. I would like all hospitals in the region to be at this level. We will work to raise the rest of the medical institutions to this level," the Governor of East Kazakhstan Region stressed.

This year, residents of remote areas of the region were screened. The women of Maralda and Katon-Karagai district were among the first to undergo this procedure. The Governor of the region stressed the need to inform rural residents about such programs and draw their attention to taking care of their own
