On December 13, the regular seventeenth session of the regional maslikhat of the VIII convocation was held with the participation of Akim of the Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai. The meeting discussed the regional budget for 2025-2027, reports of the standing committees of the regional maslikhat, the work plan of the regional representative body for 2025, registration of party factions.
During the session, Svetlana Nareshova, Head of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning, reported on the regional budget for 2025-2027. According to the head of the department, the main share of the budget, that is, 68%, is social spending. In addition, expenses are provided for education, health, culture, sports and agriculture.
- 402 kindergartens, 210 schools and 26 colleges are funded in the field of education in the region. In healthcare, funds for regularly provided free medicines and equipment for medical organizations are fully accounted for. Also, in the field of social security, funds will be allocated for state social assistance, ensuring the rights of citizens with disabilities and improving the quality of life, Svetlana Nareshova said.
Summing up the meeting, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai focused on plans for 2025.
- Today we are summarizing the results of the last session of this year. During the year, many issues were discussed, taking into account the preferences of the population. Thank you for your service and support in the development of the region and the country. Next year, it is planned to implement several large-scale projects aimed at developing tourism in the region. I believe that together with you we will implement important initiatives," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
