On the eve of Independence Day, a new school was opened in the Sauran district of Turkestan region. The educational institution was built within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School", implemented on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The school, located in the village of Enbekshi Dikhan, is designed for 600 students.
The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, who congratulated the students and teachers on this significant event. In his speech, the head of the region noted the importance of the national project and wished the students success in their studies.
"At the initiative of the President, the national project "Comfortable School" is being implemented in our country, within the framework of which modern educational institutions are being built. This initiative is aimed at solving the problems of emergency and three-shift schools, as well as eliminating the shortage of student places. This year, 29 schools of the Comfort School project with a total capacity of 17,800 places are being built in our region. We will continue to support the education sector," Darkhan Satybaldy stressed.
The school meets modern safety requirements and is equipped with all necessary equipment. The educational institution provides classrooms for physics, chemistry, biology and robotics. The project is aimed at solving the problems of emergency schools, three-shift education and lack of places for students.
It should be noted that this year 50 schools are being built in the Turkestan region, of which 29 are being built within the framework of the Comfortable School project. Previously, one school had already been opened in Turkestan as part of this program.
