Today, more than 150 units of special equipment for snow removal and ice control have entered the roads of Karaganda. The work will be carried out in two shifts, the Mayor's office of the city reports.
In the Kazybek bi district, contractors brought out 105 units of special equipment and about 120 road workers during the day shift. At night, up to 35 special vehicles and 45 workers will be involved. The number of equipment and workers will depend on weather conditions. For example, in winter, most of the special vehicles will work the night shift.
13 thousand tons of sand and salt mixture have already been prepared to combat ice, another 10 thousand tons will soon replenish stocks. 200 tons of sand and salt mixture are provided for today alone.
There are two snow ranges on the territory of the Kazybek bi district: along the Saransk highway (the area of the 108th accounting quarter) and on Gapeev St., station 17/2 (the area of the arch of the Spassky highway). These snowshoes are common use for all residents of the district and small and medium-sized businesses. Entry is free for everyone.
Today, more than 50 units of specialized equipment and 45 road workers are involved on the roads of the Alikhan Bokeikhan district. At night, more than 300 tons of sand and salt mixture have already been used to fill roads.
