Today, the youth of Zhanakorgan district organized an eco-marathon at the Zhashykol site.
The cleanliness volunteers were supported by the residents of the district center. Together they collected more than 15 bags of garbage, contributing to the preservation of the cleanliness of their native village.
The large-scale environmental project "Taza Kazakhstan" initiated by the Head of State is widely popular among the younger generation.
For example, an hour of eco-education on the topic "Keeping our native land clean is our duty" was held at the Zhanakorgan Agrarian and Technical College. The students were given a lecture on environmental protection and proper garbage sorting.
- We must treat nature and the environment around us carefully and with great love. A special mission to preserve the cleanliness and comfort of their native land is entrusted to the young. In this direction, a lot of explanatory work is important, which is carried out among schoolchildren and students of universities and colleges," said Nurkhan Aidarov, chairman of the regional branch of the Baitak party.
In addition, the planting of 3.2 thousand saplings of young trees has started in the Shieli district.
In general, 6.6 hectares of land have been specially prepared for autumn tree planting in the district center – the village of Shieli.
And at the M.Lomonosov Lyceum No. 47, students make products and crafts, as well as robotics designs. The main raw materials for this are various types of household waste collected by the guys during clean-up days. It is worth noting that the creative initiatives of the children did not go unnoticed. 6 students of this school became winners of regional competitions and took part in the robot battle competition in Astana.
For students of the Shieli Industrial and Agricultural College, during the lecture presentation, the works carried out in the district within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign were shown.
- Our students also attended lectures on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and order. This is necessary not only for human health, but also for our nature," said Deputy director of the college Almata Moldabayeva.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the environmental event "Taza Kazakhstan", 616,032 residents of the region have participated in it. More than 23,651 tons of garbage were removed, 505 squares and parks, the territories of 225 monuments of historical culture, 791 social facilities, 4332 industrial and business facilities, 322 water bodies, 47,451 courtyards and streets were cleaned.
About 548 units of special equipment were involved, 129,358 tree seedlings were planted.
