Today, a new tourist train left the capital for Borovoye, one of the most popular resort regions of the country.
The carriages of the new train depict the unique sights of the capital, in particular, the Baiterek monument, Kazakh Eli, Nur Alem and other objects. The wagons also house the tourist brands of the regions Visit Astana and Visit Aqmola. In the interior decoration of the wagons, you can see the cultural features of the city of Astana and the natural beauty of the Borovoe resort area.
Another feature of the train is an exclusive audio tour. During the trip, passengers will be able to get acquainted with interesting facts about the history, culture and natural wealth of Astana and Borovoye.
"The launch of a new tourist train is an important step towards the development of domestic tourism and the opening of new travel opportunities in Kazakhstan. This project will allow residents and guests of the country to freely get to the most beautiful resort area," Chairman of the Committee of the Tourism Industry of the MTS RK Nurtas Karipbayev said.
The train runs non-stop between Nurly Zhol station (Astana) and Borovoye resort. Travel time is 2 hours and 26 minutes.
