In accordance with the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to implement anti-corruption policies, improve operational efficiency, and minimize corruption risks, an internal corruption risk analysis will be conducted in government agencies of the Karabalyk District from April 17 to June 18, 2026.Internal corruption risk analysis is carried out on a regular (annual) basis and is one of the measures aimed at preventing and combating corruption. Almaly District Akimat Building Undergoing Seismic Reinforcement and Major Renovation 14.07.2026
The renovation of the Almaly District Akimat building, located on Abylai Khan Avenue, has attracted considerable attention on social media. Decorative architectural elements that have deteriorated over time are being carefully reconstructed to match their original appearance.Although the building is not included in the official register of protected historical and cultural monuments, its distinctive architectural character will be fully preserved. Today, a regular meeting chaired by the Akim of the district, Zhandos Yerkinbek, was held. During the meeting, the participants reviewed the issues raised at the regional meeting chaired by the Akim of the region, as well as discussed the progress of gasification projects in the district and preparations for the 2026–2027 heating season.The meeting first addressed the issue of providing the district with natural gas. Currently, the settlements of Zhosaly and Toretam, as well as the villages of Akai and Dur Ongar, are connected to the natural gas network, providing natural gas to 74.8% of the district's population. In addition, gasification works are ongoing in the villages of Torebay Bi and Iirkol. Upon completion of these projects, the level of natural gas coverage in the district is expected to reach 77.3%.The progress of construction work at the gasification facilities was also reviewed. The head of the responsible department was instructed to ensure that all works are completed with high quality and within the established deadlines.The meeting also discussed the changes to the natural gas tariff effective from July 1 of the current year, the need to widely inform residents about the new tariffs, and measures to recover outstanding utility debts from consumers. The responsible organizations were instructed to strengthen public awareness and information campaigns among district residents.The second agenda item focused on preparations for the upcoming heating season. Participants comprehensively discussed the formation of sufficient reserves of liquid, solid, and gaseous fuels for social facilities, repair works on heating systems, provision of the necessary spare parts, and ensuring an uninterrupted coal supply for residents.Heads of the education, healthcare, culture, and sports sectors reported on the ongoing preparatory work within their respective fields and confirmed that all repair works would be completed within the scheduled timeframe.In addition, the meeting reviewed measures to reduce outstanding electricity debts, prepare electricity distribution networks for the winter season, and ensure the stable operation of drinking water supply systems. Основной целью визита стало обсуждение с предпринимателями вопросов, которые требуют решений на уровне государственной политики, а также оценка эффективности действующих мер поддержки бизнеса.Алматы остается крупнейшим предпринимательским центром страны. По состоянию на 1 января 2026 года объем выпуска продукции субъектов предпринимательства достиг 30,6 трлн тенге, что составляет почти 12% валового внутреннего продукта Казахстана.В ходе встречи с представителями бизнеса, государственных органов, региональной палаты предпринимателей «Атамекен» и отраслевых ассоциаций обсуждались наиболее актуальные вопросы развития предпринимательства. В настоящее время на объекте ведутся строительно-монтажные работы. Все мероприятия выполняются в соответствии с утвержденным производственно-календарным графиком. В рамках проекта осуществляется прокладка водопроводных сетей, строительство инженерных коммуникаций и подключение жилых домов к централизованной системе питьевого водоснабжения. По итогам реализации проекта к централизованной системе питьевого водоснабжения планируется подключить 956 жилых домов. 750 National Guard Servicemen Take the Military Oath in Astana 14.07.2026
A solemn Military Oath Ceremony was held on the parade ground of Military Unit 5573 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana. A total of 750 spring conscripts pledged their allegiance to the Motherland after completing basic military training and officially joining the ranks of the National Guard.The young servicemen arrived from all regions of Kazakhstan. During their initial training, they mastered the fundamentals of military service, studied military regulations, and acquired the essential skills that will serve as the foundation for their future mission of maintaining public safety and security.A distinctive feature of this year’s ceremony was that, alongside the conscripts, four female contract servicemen also took the Military Oath. They included Dildora Salmetova, a specialist of the sanitary and epidemiological service; Aigerim Zhanatlekova, senior musician of the Song and Dance Ensemble; Saniya Karabiden, a psychologist; and Maral Smakhambetova, a musician of the National Guard’s Exemplary Military Band.
