Astana, March 27, 2026 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the removal of the Arab Republic of Egypt from the list of countries not recommended for travel. The "Snow Landing" campaign has been organized in the Altynsarin district of the Kostanay region, aimed at improving the sanitary condition of settlements and landscaping the territories.As part of the event, work was carried out to clean up yard areas and adjacent plots of private houses. In the Zhangeldinsky district of the Kostanay region, a multifunctional indoor hockey rink was opened and has already been handed over for use to the residents of the region.The new sports facility is located in the village of Torghai and was implemented using funds from the regional budget. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov attended a meeting of the Regional Investment Headquarters of the Akmola Region. The meeting was organized by the regional Akimat with the participation of Marat Akhmetzhanov, Akim of Akmola Region, government agencies and the business community.The Regional Investment Headquarters serves as a platform for effective interaction between the government and business, where investor confidence is built and projects are implemented.Deputy Minister Kuantyrov spoke at the meeting and emphasized the region's solid economic foundation, which can be used to build new investment proposals.“By the end of 2025, fixed capital investment in Akmola Oblast amounted to 926.9 billion tenge, 1.5 times higher than the same period last year. The company also opened a branch, Mekhanika KZ, whose primary activity is the sale of spare parts and components. The projected revenue is 1.4 billion tenge.The investment project “Construction of a mining and processing plant based on kaolin from the Alekseevsky deposit in the Akmola region” by Qazaq Kaolin LLP, has a production capacity of 80,000-100,000 tons of product per year. The total project cost is approximately 12,500 million tenge. The enterprise will extract and refine raw kaolin for industries such as paper and glass production, ceramics, paint and varnish fillers, rubber products, the oil and gas industry, and others. The project will create an enterprise capable of meeting the kaolin needs of both the domestic and international markets.“Construction of a Brick Factory in Kokshetau” project run by KirZavod LLP.
