Pupils of the specialized children's and youth sports school for ice hockey No. 10 at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Astana performed the National Anthem live on the eve of Independence Day and organized a patriotic challenge, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
According to Nikolai Zavodov, the school's ice hockey coach, the students perform the national anthem live during each training session. This tradition plays a special role in shaping the patriotic spirit of young athletes and fostering love for the Motherland.
"This patriotic performance gives young athletes a sense of the significance of Independence Day and a sense of pride for the country. We always pay attention to explaining to children the historical and spiritual significance of public holidays," said Nikolai Zavodov.
It should be noted that by Independence Day, the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was performed by other athletes of Astana.
Also, on the eve of the holiday, famous athletes congratulated all Kazakhstanis on Independence Day and expressed their sincere wishes. Among them are world champion in freestyle wrestling in three weight categories Rizabek Aitmukhan, silver medalist of the Paris Olympics in boxing Nurbek Oralbay, world champion in weightlifting among youth and juniors Edyge Emberdy, world champion in Kazakh wrestling and bronze medalist of the championship of Kazakhstan Olzhas Shynkeev, as well as world champion in pankration, Asian champion in hand-to-hand combat and the master of MMA Zhasulan Akimzhan.
