Under the chairmanship of the head of the region, Askhat Shakharov, a meeting of the regional commissions for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and for combating corruption was held.
The joint meeting was attended by Akim of the city Azamat Beket, heads of competent and government agencies, and akims of 12 districts joined them via videoconference.
Three issues were considered on the agenda: the implementation of recommendations issued to government agencies based on the results of external analysis and monitoring of corruption risks, anti-corruption activities in the field of Aktobe city improvement, construction, repair and maintenance of highways, as well as preparations for the flood period of 2025.
Presentations were made by the First Deputy head of the Anti-Corruption Service Department, Almat Myrzaliev, Akim of Aktobe, Azamat Beket, and Head of the Emergency Situations Department, Kakharman Orazalin.
Following the meeting, the akim of the region gave a number of instructions to officials.
