In the Karaganda region, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an action "Safety in high-rise buildings" for residents of residential complexes.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise public awareness of fire safety rules.
During the event, rescuers talked about the statistics of fires in the current year, identified the main causes of their occurrence and discussed possible consequences. Special attention was paid to fire safety requirements. Residents were shown how to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, such as fire extinguishers, and explained how to properly supply water to a conditional fire source.
At the end of this event, residents were shown videos aimed at actions in case of fire, prevention of children falling out of windows, as well as admission to the Malik Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reminds: ensuring fire safety in high—rise buildings is not only the responsibility of management companies and civil protection services, but also the personal responsibility of each resident. Regular training, system checks, compliance with rules and a clear plan of action in the event of a fire will help prevent a tragedy and save lives.
