In order to improve the water supply in the city of Kokshetau, a number of projects are being implemented. One of them, at the Subsurface groundwater deposit, old reservoirs are being reconstructed.
The contracting organization VTK Stroymontazh Limited Liability Partnership has been implementing the construction of two new water storage tanks with a total capacity of 600 m3 since August 2024. The construction of these two new reservoirs will significantly increase the volume of accumulated water and ensure stable water supply to citizens even during periods of high consumption.
In addition, as part of the improvement of the existing infrastructure, the old 500 m3 tank will be reconstructed. This allows you to extend its service life and improve the quality of water storage.
An important element of the project is the drilling of three new wells in an auxiliary groundwater field. New wells provide additional water supply to the system, which is becoming increasingly important, especially in the context of the growing demand for drinking water in the city.
"After the implementation of these works, the city will receive a more efficient and reliable water supply system. This will increase the resilience of the infrastructure to possible emergencies and increase the amount of water available to consumers," says Yuri Shengalts, General Director of the Su Arnasy enterprise.
In general, the work is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
