The Minister of Emergency Situations met with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic

On November 7, 2024, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the first working meeting of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Genghis Arinov, with a delegation of the Slovak Republic headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Defense Robert Kalinak.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of civil protection and security. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience and the introduction of modern technologies to improve emergency preparedness.
The Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Genghis Arinov, noted that the department is interested in further exchange of experience with international partners on key issues of emergency prevention and response.
"We are ready to share our experience in the field of preventing and eliminating the consequences of natural disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, and actively participate in joint initiatives aimed at improving preparedness for such situations," the minister stressed.
The parties also discussed a number of other key aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as information exchange, coordination of emergency situations, as well as the organization of joint exercises and trainings to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the rescue services of both countries.
The Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic, Robert Kalinjak, expressed interest in further strengthening partnership in the field of civil protection and security and confirmed his readiness to implement joint projects aimed at improving emergency preparedness.
