91 passenger buses have been purchased for Aktau city, and the city bus fleet has been updated by 100%. This was announced by Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai at a press conference in the CCS.

Last year, 120 methane-powered buses were purchased in Mangystau through leasing financing. Of these, 70 were transferred to service inner-city routes of Aktau, and the remaining 50 to inter-district public transport routes.
This year, it is planned to purchase 120 more buses through the established mechanism in the region. To date, 70 units have been delivered to the region, and the remaining 50 will arrive in February 2025.

The renovation of public transport is carried out jointly with JSC SEC Kaspiy, in accordance with the leasing financing program for the renovation of the bus fleet as part of the support of domestic automakers by JSC Industrial Development Fund.
As a result, the bus fleet of Mangystau region will be updated by 97% by the end of the year.
