The meeting, chaired by Vice Minister of Justice Laura Mersalimova, was attended by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of government agencies and the non-governmental sector.
The following issues were considered on the agenda of the meeting of the interdepartmental commission:
1. Consideration of the draft conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the draft Digital Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan initiated by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (developer – deputies of Parliament, co–rapporteur - ICRIAP).
2. Consideration of the draft conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and additions to certain Legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of digitalization" initiated by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (developer – deputies of Parliament, co–rapporteur - ICRIAP).
3. Consideration of the draft conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses" initiated by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (developer – deputies of Parliament, co–rapporteur - ICRIAP).
4. Consideration of the draft conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Soil Protection" initiated by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (developer – deputies of Parliament, co–rapporteur - Ministry of Agriculture).
5. Consideration of the draft conclusion of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and additions to certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on soil protection" initiated by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (developer – deputies of Parliament, co–rapporteur - Ministry of Agriculture).
6. Consideration of the regulatory policy advisory document to the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" (developer – MNE).

7. Consideration of the regulatory policy advisory document to the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Credit Rating Agencies" (developed by the ARRFR).
8. Consideration of the draft Government resolution "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 27, 2023 No. 1206 "On the Plan of legislative work of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024" (developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
Following the meeting of the commission, Laura Mersalimova thanked the members of the commission for their active participation in the discussion of issues related to the development of draft laws. He also noted the need to continue active work in this direction in the future to ensure effective legislative activity.
The Interdepartmental Commission will continue its activities on the development of the country and ensuring the rights of citizens, carrying out effective work on discussing draft legislative acts.
