On December 24, a traditional Presidential New Year tree was organized in Aktau. 200 children took part in the solemn event. Among them are orphans and those left without parental care, from low-income and large families, with special educational needs, as well as gifted children who have achieved success in studies, sports and creativity.
The head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybai, on behalf of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year holiday and conveyed to them the wishes of the president.
- Children are our future. Each of them deserves a happy childhood. The Head of state always supports the younger generation and takes care of them. Today's Christmas tree is a prime example of this. In order for you to receive a high-quality education and become a strong specialist, new schools are being opened in the region. I wish you all a Happy New Year, and I wish you health, happiness and success," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
As part of the event, children were presented with various theatrical performances and entertainment programs. The program with the participation of Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden and the symbol of 2025, the snake, gave the young residents of the region a special mood. At the same time, a musical show of the region's creative teams took place, children sang, danced and took part in a festive Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
An excursion to the Abish Kekilbayev Regional Museum of Local Lore and Kabibolla Sydykov Universal Library will also be organized for the children participating in the holiday.
It should be noted that 12 talented schoolchildren from the region went to the New Year's carnival "Gazhaiptar Ornaganda", which was held at the republican educational and recreation center "Baldauren" from December 5 to 24. And on December 25, 5 children from Mangystau region, belonging to the category of social assistance, will visit the republican Christmas tree "Zhana zhyl Republic of Thailand" organized on behalf of the President in Astana.
At the end of the event, special New Year gifts were presented to all children on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
