As part of a working trip to Kazan, the delegation of the Abai region, headed by the governor of the region, Nurlan Urankhaev, visited the Innovative Industrial Park – Technopolis Himgrad. This modern industrial park, located at the entrance to the northwestern part of Kazan from the federal highway M-7 "Volga", occupies an area of 131 hectares, and the total area of buildings and structures exceeds 500 thousand square meters.
Himgrad is known for its high concentration of small and medium-sized businesses operating in innovative fields such as low-tonnage chemistry, polymer processing, nanotechnology, energy-efficient technologies, resource conservation and medical developments.
Thanks to this multidisciplinary specialization, the park plays an important role in the economy and technological development of the region, providing residents with unique conditions for growth and the introduction of new technologies.
During the visit, the delegation from the Abai region studied the experience of working with advanced solutions implemented in the technopark, and also discussed prospects for cooperation and exchange of innovations. The representatives of the delegation noted the importance of integrating such advanced technologies for the sustainable development of business and industry in Kazakhstan.
The working trip and the visit to the Himgrad Technopark contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations and the development of cooperation in the field of technology and entrepreneurship between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.
