The new facility meets modern requirements. All conditions have been created for the villagers to receive the necessary medical care.
A new medical center in the village of Akkain in the Martuk district of Aktobe region was built as part of the pilot National project "Modernization of rural healthcare" initiated by the Head of State. The cost of the project is 237 million tenge.
"On behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, the program "Modernization of rural healthcare" is being implemented in the country. Within its framework, two identical facilities are being built in the Martuk district. One of them was opened today. I congratulate everyone on this joyful event. The opening of a new medical center, firstly, will make medical care more accessible, and secondly, it will create new jobs," said Deputy akim of the region Zholdas Batyrkhan, who spoke at the grand opening of the medical center.
The opening was also attended by the head of the health department N.Tympiev and akim of the Martuk district M. Iskakov.
There is one nurse working at the medical center now. In the near future, 3 more residents of the village will be employed permanently.
The medical center is designed to receive 20 people per day. It also has a day hospital and physiotherapy rooms, the population will be able to undergo screening and receive vaccinations.
Today, 410 people live in the village of Akkain, most of them are elderly people. They are happy that they have received a new medical facility in 33 years. Previously, residents of the village were provided with medical care in a specially equipped room in the building of the village club.
"When we needed treatment, we went 35 kilometers to the village club. Now a medical center has opened near our house. We will be able to receive the medicines we need on time. Of course, we are very happy. I want to express my gratitude to all the people who built this building," said village elder Sarsenbai Ermagambetov.
