Today, for the first time in the field of Getisu, a digitalization forum "Digital Jetisu Forum" was held in Taldykorgan, organized by the regional department of Digital Technologies and the IT hub "Jetisu Digital" and dedicated to the Day of Digitalization and Information Technology Workers. The forum brought together developers, engineers, IT experts and industry leaders, becoming a new platform for discussing key topics of digital industry development in the region. In total, about 300 people took part in it. By the way, 96% of public services provided in the Zhetisu region are automated, and Internet access is provided in 95.2% of settlements in the region, while 13 base stations for the 5G network are installed in the regional center, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
Welcoming the participants of the meeting on behalf of the head of the region, Deputy Akim of the region Dias Esdauletov noted:
- Today's event is organized in order to unite the efforts of professionals and experts in the field of digital technologies to discuss ways that will help us accelerate the implementation of modern solutions and create a convenient and efficient digital infrastructure in the region. In the era of digital transformation, government agencies are faced with the task not only to increase the efficiency of service provision, but also to introduce the principles of transparency and accountability at every stage of interaction with citizens. In general, 277 or 96% of the 289 public services and sub-services provided are automated in Zhetisu, including the process of acquiring a land plot from state ownership, including the issuance of technical specifications for connection to engineering communications. As it was noted, a number of digitalization projects are successfully operating in the region. In particular, within the framework of the Carpet project, more than 15 thousand video surveillance cameras are connected to the operational management center of the Police Department, and 216 cameras are installed to improve road safety, allowing to detect traffic violations and measure traffic flow.
In order to digitalize the healthcare sector, 16 medical institutions in the region have implemented a PACS system that allows high-precision analysis of X-rays, which helps doctors diagnose at an early stage, which is especially important in the case of oncological diseases. During the operation of the system, more than 615 thousand studies have been conducted.
As part of the work on digitalization of the region's education sector, all 337 schools in the region are connected to the Internet. Of these, 53 remote schools have been connected using the Starlink satellite system this year. Also, 69 schools have implemented the "Single Student Card" system, which provides attendance control, food accounting and access to libraries.
The issue of training highly qualified IT specialists is also being resolved. In particular, the Samsung Innovation Campus programming school has been opened in Taldykorgan and courses are being held on the basis of the IT Hub Jetisu Digital, where more than a thousand people have already been trained.
In continuation of the event, a plenary session was held on the topic: "Social wallet – digitalization of government support measures." The speakers focused on the essence of the Social Wallet project, aimed at ensuring accessibility and transparency of government support measures provided to citizens.
In addition to the main topic, the forum covered such important areas as artificial intelligence, data analysis, cybersecurity, digitalization of social services, as well as transport and security. In particular, Google Developer expert Enes Turan spoke about global trends and changes in the IT industry, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in improving the efficiency of business processes. Issues of increasing the availability of public services and digital support for citizens were also discussed. The speakers shared the latest solutions and technologies in the field of cybersecurity, focusing on the protection of information in the digital age. In addition, the "Safe City" system was presented, focused on improving public safety and supporting urban services.
Along with discussion platforms, the Jetisu IT Expo exhibition was open for the guests of the event, presenting digital projects of IT companies, as well as experts on digitalization. In total, 12 domestic companies from different cities and regions of the country took part in it, working in the field of telecommunications, data analytics, security, geocart development and much more.
So, Anastasia Khokhlova, an analyst manager at Rating LLP from East Kazakhstan Region, said that since September the company has been working together with the Department of Digital Technologies of the Zhetisu region to create a Situation Center, which is a huge analytical database in various areas.
- For example, a case about residents of the region with special needs. The database of the Situation Center clearly shows what their number is, how many of them are covered by state social assistance, and how many are not, and so on. In total, 12 cases have already been developed. These are "Accident Analysis", "School occupancy", "Demography", "Labor market situation" and others. By the end of the year, the number of cases will be 58. All this makes it possible to collect all the information about the development of the region in one place, analyze it and take measures to improve the situation," A. Khokhlova noted.
But the students of NIS G.Taldykorgan presented their robot rover at the exhibition, which they have been working on since grade 9 and have already distinguished themselves at international robotics exhibitions in Astana and Almaty.
- We printed all the details on a 3D printer. The program is written in the Python programming language. Our rover is designed to explore caves on the Moon and Mars. We worked on this project together with my classmate Edyge Bolatbekuly," said a student of the 12th grade, NIS G.Taldykorgan Kasym Ali.
By the way, within the framework of the forum, an award ceremony was held for IT specialists in the region for achievements in the field of digitalization.
Thus, the winner in the nomination "Engine of digital technologies" was the creator and director of the school of robotics "Future-IT" Damir Nurkezhanov, in the nomination "Digital Supplier of the Year" Kirill Mikhov, a computer science teacher at Karatal High School, became the winner, and in the nomination "Best mentor of startup culture" – the head of business startup projects at Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College Asel Kulyntaeva. The teams of the IT hub "Jetisu Digital" and the international technopark of IT startups "Astana Hub" and others were also noted. As a reward – Letters of thanks from the akim of the region, special statuettes and cash certificates.
