Yerbolat Dosayev got acquainted with the construction of a sewer collector from the Kargaly filtration station

Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, during a working detour of the Nauryzbay district, got acquainted with the implementation of a large-scale project for the construction of a sewer collector from the Kargaly filtration station.
In this area, a Kargaly filtration station was built at the end of 2023 to radically solve the problem with wastewater disposal. For the full functioning of this station, it is necessary to build a sewer collector.
"In 2019, when designing the Kargaly filtration station, the construction of a sewer collector was not taken into account. In order to eliminate these shortcomings and ensure the correct sequence of work, we are now laying the backbone networks, and then we will move on to the distribution ones. After the construction of the collector is completed, it will be connected to the Kargaly filtration station, which will provide residents with stable water supply and centralized sewerage," Yerbolat Dosayev said.
The total length of the collector is 8.6 km. The work is being carried out by two contractors commissioned by the Department of Energy and Water Supply and the Akimat of the district - NPO LLP and Kolsai Stroy. Today, the project's readiness is about 70% of the total length of the reservoir. Construction and installation work is scheduled to be completed by the end of November this year.
The implementation of the project will provide sanitation for more than 50 thousand residents of the residential districts of Karagaily, Kuramys, Kargaly and Tausamaly. This will contribute to environmental safety in an actively developing area, reducing pollution risks and improving sanitary conditions for the population.
The head of the city instructed the akim of the Nauryzbay district and the head of the Department of Energy and Water Supply to accelerate the pace of work and ensure high-quality, timely completion of the construction of the collector.
Yerbolat Dosayev noted that the completion of the sewer collector construction will allow residents of the microdistricts connected to the city to connect to central communications and ensure the sustainable development of the infrastructure of the Nauryzbay district.
